Hi
I want to do some custom equipment, but always i put helmet or other to a database i do it wrong and nothing changed... Please could anyone give me a SIMPLE tutorial how to add helmet and other stuff to the team ??
Thanks
I'm afraid that there is no simple tutorial for this. I know the equipment ingame has changed compared to previous editions. Moreover, the frames and wheels differ from the helmets in PCM14.
You have probably noticed that you now have a contract with a frame manufacturer and a wheels manufacturer when you are in a career. If I remember correctly you should be able to add custom frames and wheels to one certain team by adding something to the name of the _d.dds, _s.dds and _n.dss files (sorry, I cannot tell you what that something is, because I don't remember). Note that the NIF file stays the same.
For helmets it is even more complicated. You have probably noticed you cannot pick your helmets before a race starts. This is because PCM14 assigns the helmets randomly to the teams and autocolouring is used to differentiate the teams. What you can do is replacing one of those helmets, but that will result in having multiple teams riding with your custom helmet.
Sorry if my answer is lacking details, but I cannot give you those, since I haven't played PCM in ages. If you want to know more I would advise you to contact someone that is involved in making the databases, since these people have better knowledge about the assignment of equipment.
I'm trying to explain how to do it very briefly. Because my English is bad I will work with a few images.
First check in your game directory eg R:\Program Files\Cyanide\Tour de France 2014 - called the official cycling Manager\3D\Cyclists\Equipments\Wheels as your files.

Then open a DB with an editor. (PCM editor or Lachi editor). I show almost editor with the PCM.
1. go to STA_Brand. Make a new entry and can tell you the ID abundance all series look as shown on the pictures.

STA_Brand
2. go to the editor to STA_equipment_model. Make a new entry for each frame (at least 2. One one for normal Frame, One for TT frame). Please fill out all series so as shown on the pictures.

3. in the table of "Teams" in the editor and there enter the ID number. The ID's from the STA_Brand table.

Teams
4. and now very important. The equipment is not determined by the entries in "Teams", but only in the table DYN_brand_contact.Select each team. For each team, three entries are important. 1= frame, 2 = wheels 3= gear. Fill the table as shown on the image.

DYN_brand_contact
You can enter the ID of the Cannondale frames (fkID_equipment_marques_cadre) in the table as "teams". If you enter in Dyn_brand_contact even when the respective team Cannondale but, but e.g. Argon18, also Argon18 then has the team in the game. So in this table work very exactly.in the table STA_Brand is also the name of the manufacturer of the glasses and gear included. As Shimano manufactures wheels as well as gear, I have called the Shimano gear, Shimano G at the fill to confuse the table DYN_brand_contact not the wheels with the gear.

Thanks i´ve tryied it and frame works fine but in game arent any wheels but i change them to shimano by your tutorial ... and also i changed helmets by your tutorial but nothing changed in game ... i want to have original helmets of Team Sky but in game are weird white helmets ..i dont know how to change the helmets !!
Make sure you filled in absolutely correct names in the editor.
Block letters or capitol letters MUST be the same in the editor.
I know since I stumbled on this in filling in with block letters in STA_equipment_model.
So frame_cannondale_00 is NOT the same as Frame_Cannondale_00 as example
Keep low case letters everywhere to be 100& sure
Can´t help on helmets since I fear that this is beyond editing. I heard that older games could make this, but the 100% important table that tells the game what wheels and frames are the DYN_brand_contract
Nothing in this about helmets.
Others know much more than me, but my contribution could be my own stumbled issue. THE BLOCK LETTERS.
