I'm playing a career with Bretagne and this got me thinking about something I think the game is lacking.
For a team like Bretagne, big races like Paris-Roubaix and Tour de France are the most important races to get their name and the names of their sponsors across. This however, is not reflected in the sponsor goals, since none of the WT races are included.
That's how I got the idea for a new kind of sponsor goal, namely riding a certain amount of kilometres in the breakaway. Obviously, this should mostly apply to teams that are certain to get a wildcard for these (WT) races.
Do you think this makes any sense at all?

I think it's a great idea, but Cyanide would never go for it, I think. Maybe somewhere way in the future.
Anyway, it'd also be great to see how many km a rider has spend in a breakaway throughout the season/his career. Would make for more interesting careers with fighters instead of world top riders

They've had it as an objective in the TDF game and I found it really enjoyable, but, as well as this, the game is missing a combatitivity classification...

The best way (not gonna happen though) would be to completely rework the objectives system where they just name the races that they want you to be seen.
The current goals along with said "#kms in E1" idea and a combativité system could be reworked to a points system that adds up. That way, it actually makes sense to try to win the KoM jersey, get in a breakaway now and then or defend a top 25 spot. And it would make sense to race Paris-Roubaix even though you're playing with Bretagne since just getting in the breakaway will make your sponsors happy.
In the end, the conclusion is always the same: This game has so much potential management-wise, if only Cyanide had actual competition. =)

I'm pretty sure you just said it all there...
