Vesuvio move back into the lead for the first time since the first race of the season after Frank Schleck and Ben Swift were the top scorers in Norway, and Suaza shone in Colombia. Wikipedia are still close though, and still have two Phinney stage races to come. Pokerstars slipped back recently, but there is still chance for them to fight back. Their podium place is not secure however, with Good Energy moving back into contention.

Becherovka hold the much sought 5th place now, opening a gap on Tinkoff. Simply Red Bull remain firmly in contention after Alarcon's high scoring Colombia, it is enough to put them ahead of Festina.

B&O and Aker complete the Top 10 and while a gap is starting to form to 11th, there are many teams close together there, less than 200 points from 11th to 16th.

None of those teams can consider themselves safe as yet, but the relegation battle appears to be shaping up as 1 survives from Santander, VolksWagen and Rothaus.

Machado's performance could have consigned ING to bottom spot.

Really a thrilling fight there. Not sure about Santanders remaining schedule. But I guess I should pass them.

Then they're is this awful fight against Volkswagen. Would prefer to stay up together with him. But there can only be one.
I guess Sella is in Deutschland? So is Keizer.

A podium/top5 plus several in top 30 in northern classics could help I guess.

And vueling better watch out for those below.

Both the upcoming battle at the top & the bottom looks like it might come down to the final race. Looks like Volkswagen & Rothaus have the best chances with these final races.

But it is looking really godd at the moment for my team. Velits for Lichtenstein and Deutschland, Bewley for Lisbon, TONE and P-KV-P and Sagan for Tasmania and Lombardia and a decent team for TTT. My hopes I will be able to retain that 5th place are quite high. It likely won't be possible to go any higher though.

Vesuvio seems like to be a clear favourite to win in all for me now. On the other side of the table, Santander are likely going down for sure, it would be a good thing to see as well considering that team will disband for sure. Otherwise it should be really close between VW and Rothaus. Should be fun.

This will be a nailbiting end to the season. We will get past Santander without doubt, however Rothaus might beat us... I don't really expect to take 500 points on the teams infront so I feel that is where the battle stands... May the best win

Disappointing period for us considering Tour of Norway was in it. Seeing our captains remaining schedules, I suspect we might drop some places in the overall ranking as well, as we need to be lucky to score decent in the five races coming after GP Liechtenstein (Contador's final race), but the 300 points buffer down to Pendleton's is handy, as it should mean that we stay in contention for 10th place for quite some time.

Really cool to see the remaining schedule for the captains of the teams involved in the fight for the overall win and in the fight to avoid relegation. Especially the fight between VW and Rothaus will be thrilling to follow.

Thanks for the update and schedules, SN! The same thank you goes to CountArach for his victory stats. Seeing we got five wins in total, and Boasson Hagen only got one of them, I just hope his wage is going to get back to "normal" for the next season

It would be interesting to see a lineup on those battleing for top 10 aswell, but I guess it will be too long

- I am not going to look up in the rankings anymore. I should have been 5th or better by now to stand a chance at staying somewhere in that region. My goal of ending in the top 10 is nailbiting aswell as most other positions, but I really hope I can stay there. I have a feeling though that Aker will overtake me, so 9th is my dedicated goal of the season now.

Eventhough the season has been slightly dissapointing in terms of my goals, and I would have been well into the top 5 without all the bad luck, I can't help but think this has been one of the most exciting seasons in the Man-Game history. Not only because the rankings are so close, but also because so many different team setups seem to be doing well, and as such there is no "true way" of handling this game. I like that a lot! Obviously, when panning the top 5 teams, 4 of them have top sprinters, although Good Energy have a slightly worse top sprinter. But Bewley, Swift and Boonen clearly helps when you want to stay in the very front, and all of those have plenty of racesdays (Perhaps this is something we could look into reducing ever so slightly, if the sprintings work the same in PCM14). Wikipedia shows that you don't necessarily need to have a super sprinter to be where it counts though, and while they don't have a top top rider in any terrain at all, they do have top 5 material for almost any race - And combining that with clever planning you can win the rankings, which is very cool.

Also a reason for me liking this season so much, I think, is the amount of wins we have gotten. In a normal season we are well below 10 stagewins over the course of a season, but this year we have 14 at this point, and some of our riders have even dissapointed, like Guerao. Some riders have been hugely overpowered this season, such as Andy Schleck and Jose Alarcon, but it adds a bit of dimension to the game, which is nice, although they take away valuable points from riders better than themselves. It's always a gamble to select riders in the off season, and I really like the game for that. You can't just lean back and stick to your old team if you want to stay in touch with the front.

Finally a big congrats to B&O for the current top 10 position. Looking at the team roster, that is HUGELY surprising imo, as they should be battleing against relegation. But yet again, smart planning, good combination of riders and a bit of luck here and there is all it takes, to go from the rock bottom, to a safe mid position, even sometimes reaching out for the top 5.

I'd quite like to see a 5th promotion (so Sanatander staying up) in a perfect world 6 promotions from the PCT as I feel there are 6 teams who really deserve to go up a level this year, saying that though I wouldn't like to see Rothaus going down as i've really grown fond of them this year and i'm exicted to see what they do in the transfer season.

At the top i'd like to see Good Energy or Pokerstars win it to show you don't need a top GC rider but of the 4 I think Wikipedia will be too strong in the end,

Me too, although I think Vesuvio will win easily. I can't point out a race where Wikipedia are clear favorites over Vesuvio, but I can the other way around. I suspect that Vesuvio will win with a 500+ margin.

Phinney vs F.Schleck in the German Tour? Same with Tasmina tour and TVG vs Gausteur at Lisbon plus on paper Wikipedia have 4 out of the top 5 TT riders not including phinney who isn't there. I get where your coming from there are races were you can see Vesuvivo out scoring Wiki such as Lichtenstein next but I don't think it's a forgone conclusion just yet
