Hi Guys
I tried to install the game and expansion pack of pcmdaily today but it seems like I can't select the database in the options menu. I installed the expansion pack in the Original program files/ pcm 2014 folder and have the latest version of the game on my computer. Does anyone know what I might do? I tried a reinstall of the game as well of the expansion pack but nothing seems to work. I can only acces the "official release" database.. Thanks |

You probably made a mistake in the download. Did you follow all the instructions?

If you can install it, then the download is fine, no need to re-download it.
But if you have re-installed the game, then maybe you forget to start the game before installing the expansion pack. Just install the pack one more time and see if it works now.
But I recommend that you check the installation patch of the expansion pack before re-installing it. Because the most common error when installing this pack is not to select the correct path.

I indeed forgot to start the game before installing the expansion pack... I'll do it right away. But I had some small issues with the installing of the pack as well. I got follow error several times
I pressed the "try again" button and then it works. Bu I think I had to do it about 50 times. I tought it was nothing, but as it's not working it might be relevant.
I installed the patch under c/program files ( 86x )/ cyanide/pro cycling manager season 2014 --> so that should be correct right?

Then it has to be right. Anyway, after you installed it, is now working? Or have you got the same problem? If so, you may try finding the path where you have installed pcm 14 and copy the exact path, then paste it in the installer when it asks for a destination directory.

I've got the same problem, so I'm doing a redownload, a reinstall and then I'll use your advice as well. If it's not working I'm gonna cry |

Seems like a corrupted installer. The installer is divided in multiple files (10 files if I'm correct), so it's possible that the installer itself (the .exe file) is fine, but that one of the other files is corrupted.
I guess something must have gone wrong with your download. Try downloading the Expansion Pack again and try again afterwards.

Unfortunately still the same problem... right from the start I get this error. I guess it won't be PCM for me this year. |

Argh, in that case the installer got seriously corrupted. If you haven't yet, youd better re try downloading it as haasje said. Otherwise, if you already done it, i dont really know what else you can do, sorry.

It were over 150 files. I counted them. I did Retry and that seemed to work, but when I start the game, there is no db but the "official release". I already tried to redownload it. So I will have to try another expansion pack like ASO db then.

Don't give up so fast. Maybe only the DB file is missing. Go to the thread of the expansion pack and ask for the DB file and where to put it and try again:
