Low FPS

I've been experiencing very low fps in the game independently of the graphical settings I'm using. When I got the game I usually got around 20 FPS on high but now, i get 7 to 9 FPS on high and 6 to 7 on low. It's really weird. I have an Intel I3-3217U 1.80 GHz, a NVidia GeForce 740M and 4 GB ram. Technically I should be able to play the game on at least on medium so I was wondering if anyone could help. I've already updated all the drivers and got no results. |

I'm not completely sure that you could play the game with those specs. The RAM is okay, but the CPU and the graphics card are not good enough to run the recent versions of the game smoothly.

Acording to game debate I should be able to run it. And when I first got it I got playable FPS. Not smooth but at least playable. Now, for some reason, this happened. |

Maybe the expansion pack is too heavy for your computer. You could ask in the thread of that pack. |

Ok, but I never played without the pack. In the beggining, when I had better FPS, I already had the pack. BTW, the last time I played I got 15 FPS during gameplay and 30 FPS on the stage highlights. |

Perhaps too many applications are open while you're running the game? Could you take a screen of your task manager?

Might it be the race/stage? I have an old PC (with a Radeon HD3850) and need to turn details down a lot, but while some stages run smoothly, others stutter quite badly. The length/complexity of a stage probably plays a role. |

Ignore uTorrent, steam and firefox which are always closed when I play.
Lachi I thought that you asked if I changed something from the original game, not since I first played.
Edit: The attachment with a screen from my task manager isn't showing up for some reason...

a very useful trick to increase performance while using pcm daily expansion pack:
edit the database and assign the same equipment (frame, wheels, elmet) to every team.
this makes loading time much shorter and decrease the memory usage, increasing performance. |

As someone used to play the ps3 version of the game, one of the things I like playing the pc version is that team has a different equipment. Obviously, if I have no other choice I will try that, but I would like to see if there is a different way to fix it before I try that. And here is the screen with my task manager:

Try closing that Windows Modules Installer process, it affects too much the CPU

Well, I opened the task manager and that was gone... Not sure why it was open when I took the screen... |
