I am developing a db for playing a cycling league, in which teams are more permanent regional representatives as in soccer.

I will be playing the races in single race mode. Trying to decide on a good way to give teams an advantage in local races,

I am thinking I will have to edit the DB before every race, and edit the stats but was wondering if anyone had better ideas?

Was originally thinking fitness but not sure I can edit that in single race mode (with random off).

If I use stats I was thinking +2 in resistance and stamina since those stats maybe reflect the rider's commitment to the race. Is that too much/too little?
