I was wondering if it would be possible to make a new career, change the date to the current date (17-11-2014) and open the transfer window from now till 01-01-2015?
I know its possible to change the date, but is it also possible to make the other teams sign riders in the period between now and 01-01-2015?
I'm very sure that this isn't possible. Your best option would probably be to take a weekly save from late october after the racing, for example october 20 or whatever is possible.

You'd have to edit every single table of the editor and it would require real life years as well as a great PCM knowledge. So my suggestion is playing the first year of the career, or just waiting for a proper 2015 DB
I think you can achieve something similar using a hack.
1. Start a career with the team you want to play.
2. Close the game and open the save in an editor.
3. Open the table GAM_config and edit fkIDstage_current, just put the ID of any other stage.
4. Load that edited career and simulate past the first race
5. Edit fkIDstage_current again and put the stage ID from the first race.
Now you can simulate through the career and all races will be skipped.
You can sign contracts as normally in July, and so on.
At the end of the season, you have to fix the promotion/relegation though.
Actually I was thinking turning the date back to 17.11.2013. But if there isn't any way to make the other teams active on the transfer market, theres no point..
Can't wait to play the 2015 season as Tinkoff-Saxo, with Sagan and Contador!
