Do you think the game is funner with Random Potential On or Off. I am starting a career and i am wondering if it will make the game funner and more interesting?

I alwys play with random potential, mainly becouse after a while you get to know wich riders wil develop to good riders, and this option prevents that a bit

Off for me personally.
Development can really get crazy with it on. With lots lf riders ending up on 84+, f.e Kittel getting on 80HI, stuff like that.
Even with random fitness off, there are still no fixed limits and development will still vary, but just without crazy things(if you have good XMLs) and without a random 27yo Turkish sprinter becoming a superstar Pfft

It's a tough call...both, Jesleyh and trekbmc are right somehow...

I personally play with this option ticked, just because i find it boring after a while without it.

@Jesleyh: Kittel in my game got 77 HI and 74 MO xD, but also Kelderman has won the Tour twice, because of his stats...(and he is not in my team...)

ok, my opinion is if you have done 5 or 6+ careers so far, to random potentials, if not, don't. Smile

The random potentials could be either funny or annoying. Let me explain myself better.
I only played 2/3 careers with them turned on. The first career was all in all funny because at the beginning seeing your best sprinter that has a potential of 85 in MO, and I swear, it really happened, makes your career weird. But then it turns into annoying because often happens that a rider wins every single race. The random potentials also make the stat matrix very very high in some careers and that can make the game too unrealistic. I'd suggest you to first start a random potentials career and see if you like it Pfft
