I'm playing with Barloworld in my second season now and I have never won a complete stage race before, only stages and mountain jersies.
Then, In Giro del Trentino (2008), I managed to keep the overall title for Giampaolo Cheula until the very last day, which were a flat terrain with one mountain top in the end. unfortunately a breakaway got more than 13 minutes on this last day and cheula dropped from the first to the sixth position overall. But the game finished before I could jump to windows and start all over. Is there any possible way to go ONE day back and do a re-match? The ending sucked. If I were just beated by another GC-guy it would have been fine - but 5 unknown riders taking the overall classification based on a breakaway - come on..
Hope someone remembers the game and have a good advice!
only one day? most likely impossible by database editing (wasn't sure about it so didn't anwser yet)
as far as I know, you can go back a few days by loading a weekly save. there is a chance that the last weekly save is created on the day before that final stage. there is also a chance that the last weekly save is created even before the Giro start.
Do you know where I can find the weekly save? All I know is that the game saves automatically every day after each race. When I load a game from the menu it's only possible to load my current game (just after finishing the terrible stage). Maybe I can find the weekly save somewhere else?
On the other hand it's not possible to save the game manually, so I for instance can make a backup in the middle of a race.
I am not sure about PCM07, but in newer PCMs, the Weekly Saves can be found in -> C/Users/Your Name/My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 20xx/Weekly Saves
If it's there, just copy one of those (the most recent one is the best, just sort them by date) saves to -> C/Users/Your Name/My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 20xx/Users/Your In-game Name/Database/Solo/DB you're using and then load it in game.
It sounds a bit complicated, but it isn't. Once again, I repeat, this is how it should be done for newer versions. If that's not working for PCM07, I guess you'll have to wait for someone that has the game installed on PC now.
I have found two directories on my computer related to the game:
One is: D/Games/Cycling Manager 2007 in which I have installed the game.
It consists of numerous maps, but no one with the name Weekly Saves or anything related to savegames, as far as I can see..
The other is: My Documents (Brian)/Pro Cycling Manager 2007 in which there are following maps:
CustomTour -> empty
Export -> Events & StartLists -> Both empty
Import -> StartLists -> empty
Replay -> temp.cdb
Screenshots -> empty
Database -> Downloaded -> TempInitialServer.cdb
-> Multi -> OfficialRelease -> empty

Hmm, no, .cdb~ files are not Weekly Saves. I am sorry, but judging by the folders you have in My Documents, it looks like PCM07 doesn't really have an Weekly Saves option or folder. That most likely means you won't be able to go one day back (well, theoretically there is a possibility, but it's really hard, especially with an old game), however, you should definitely wait for someone that has PCM07 installed to respond here.
