I have heard that prize money was out for PCM2013, but back again. Will perhaps prize-money in XML classification files supersede the one in the DB OR what happens....
Are the added prize-money in the XMLs for the GT leftovers from PCM2013 ???
I´m working hard on creating CORRECT XML classification files and the money might pay a important rule in this.
Since the standard XML class files are VERY wrong, it´s strange that so little has been talked about in this forum.
Some (and I believe only the Grand Tours, TDF,Giro and Vuelta) is correct and others are in some cases horrible wrong.
Getting those points for Dot and Green Jerseys is in my book very important. It develops the race very much from the GC and adds extras.
As I see that it´s probably more important to get shoes, gloves, bottle and the color of the bikes more important for most gamers I see no idea on putting my hard worked XML files out on display.
Please inform me otherwise, if so....
Folks with new DBs should have some smaller interrest I believe, but then

You should really share your files as every file that improves career's gameplay is really welcome. The prize money isn't a topic part of the career, but it could be a great improvement for careers with small conti-teams. So keep it up and don't worry, your work on classifications etc. is surely great. If you share it, even if it is a small part of the game it really improves gameplay.
I will put these files as soon as the have been tested enough. I must even stress that looking at the ongoing Vuelta even that is WRONG with bonus seconds.
Intermeditae sprints in the XML says -10,-6,,4. It´s actually 3,2,1 seconds what I can see, and we all see that this race is a battle for seconds for the moment.
I have worked my way up from minor races and covers most of all HC races, will take a closer look at the Three Great too since this Vuelta mistake is trouble.
The biggest thing is however to have all the cont_21, cont_22 and cont2_HC the same systems. All have 25 points to stage winners that will completly crash any Green Jersey fight for any intermediate sprinters. The 20 second bonus for stage wins is something that I haven´t seen in ANY smaller race. Those 4-7 day races should be close second races and that will not happen with that huge bonus.

What I would like to suggest you is to concentrate on bigger race first
People will be interested more.
I am spanning all over the circuit, so don´t be worried.
All the 2HC races are covered and the level below is rapidly getting fixed.
It´s best, and has bigest effect, to test out races that is max a week long, mostly 3-4 day races. One can really see the fight for seconds in GC, and the much fewer points that some races has.
The tough thing is that Cyanide have missed out on that in many races it´s a split betwenn a direct Sprint Jersey and another Point classification (Green Jersey).
I have "forced" to combine them in those cases.
I started out with races in US since I believed that´s was were the biggest differences could be, but that was wrong.
I am trying to get them in different packages so that DB creators can start include them if they think it will make any difference.

They will absolutely make more realism:
In career mode, for example, when you are 3-4 seconds behind the leader and you can't recover them it's easy finding an intermediate sprint that often gives 6". This is very unrealstic, an underrated part of the gameplay. Keep it up
One thing for sure, but that´s Cyanide problem, is that in many races the (what we call) interim sprints are separate competitions from the Point classifications.
I have to bundle them together.
Another "problem" is like the Eneco Tour having NO actual KoM jersey and competition. They have a "Black Jersey" Primus Comb race with different sprints mixed in with the Sprint competition.
Stage creators have in this case the only option to put in Mountain sprints, perhaps as cat 4, which then can be used as this different Primus Black Jersey battle.
This calls for some serious thinking in creating stages for Eneco Tour.
I believe I have seen a package from Ricardo123 on Eneco with some stages having cat 4 climbs, but it is needed to put in those cat 4 in ALL stages to have this idea to work proper.
The Black Jersey is not in DBs packages as far as I can see but it would be great if someone made it.
