Hello folks,
I'm in the process of creating a 'classic' cross era, career-play aimed patch that will add a number of classic teams and riders to the DB. I'm posting a list of riders below to see if anyone has any suggestions on riders who should make such a list. Obviously, this is subjective but I'm open to any/all suggestions and arguments for their inclusion/exclusion. Thoughts welcomed.

Anyway the list could continue forever...
There are a lot of rider missing.
And why there are Vandevelde, Zabriskie, Casar and Simon Yates

Hi Matt,
thanks for the suggestions. I'm after past riders, only. Current roster exists as is, so no need to suggest present riders such as Contator, Froome, etc.
Horrible omission in Coppi - thanks. Added. I'll review the rest soon.
Lots of work but already 75% done with the original draft list.
As for the anti Sanday Casar sentiment, ha! The others? Maybe

My guess would be that it is Sean Yates.
One hell of a project. What are you planning team-wise? |

This looks a good DB. How are you going to do the teams?
Maybe an old Ivan Basso or Damiano Cunego. |

That is indeed Sean Yates, '82-'96.
In terms of Teams, I'm still considering options. I have a short-list so far, including graphics and so on:
Banesto
Caisse d'Epargne
Carrera
Castorama
Cervélo Test Team
Chateau D'Ax
GAN
Gatorade-Bianchi
GB-MG
Gerolsteiner
Gewiss
Polti
Kelme
La Vie Claire
Mapei-GB
Mercatone Uno
Molteni
Motorola
Panasonic
Renault-Elf Gitane
Saint-Raphael
TVM
US Postal
Team 7-Eleven
Festina
ONCE
Peugeot
Saeco
T-Mobile
Obviously, that has an 80's-90's focus, so I'm considering how to meld the older era riders into the DB where their team of note aren't on the list. Again, open to team suggestions too, particularly pre-80's, where my knowledge is lesser.
It was eleven more than necessary.

Ahah, really I admit I didn't know him. |

Another team I would like to have should be Team Z of '90-'92
And yeah, Giovanni Battaglin, he won Giro and Vuelta the same year.
Vainsteins, as well

Fighting with the incredible Merckx and helping out Luis Ocana you must include BIC riders Leif Mortensen and Cyrille Guimard
And from those glory years
Barry Hoban
Willy Teirlinck
Joaquim Agostinho
Rogers brother Erik de Vlaeminck
and of course the brothers to Gösta Pettersson
Eric,Sture and Thomas (one of the best TTT ever)
Fausto Bertoglio (Giro winner him too)
