For the "Big Background Jerseys"
*Right click on ...\ExportJersey.bat and click on Edit
*Change -width 256 -height 256 -camera 2 -> -width 1024 -height 1024 -camera 1 and Save it
*Now when you double click the ExportJersey.bat you will have the "big" Jerseys
+Config parameter: 1 = camera 3/4. 2 = front camera
+Width/height : It has to be a power of 2
You have to use Mini Jersey Creator from Cyanide.

ps: the format of the images is in .dds A8R8G8B8 profile, so it should work.
this is what brought me a a possible conclusion that i may need to change something in the local.cdb file for them to work
You dont have to change nothing in local.cdb
You don't have to change the format of the imagefrom .png to .dds just by rename (if I understand).
i have downloaded 3 dbs: oleg's, pcmdaily and french comunity, and they all have this background files in .dds same as the default one that already comes with the game with cyanide.
i use the Mini Jersey Creator and this creates images in .tga then i use paint.net to convert them in .dds as everyone is using.
but for me they dont show, my custom db is basicaly the official release, with cyclists and teams names fixed.
what i want to know is from here how do i make them to show up in the game

i did and nothing, but you know what, its just a small graphic feature not worthy freaking out about it. i have more important stuff to fix before i can start my carreer
