Some of the Stats of the Scouts are very vague so I was wondering if anyone could help me. What stat affects how likely you are to find a good puncher?
I think you are right about the stats. Correct me if I'm wrong but would the best option for scouting young talents be to hire cheap scouts and let them search out the areas. Also, would you advise to monitor or sponsor a young rider. Finally, how useful is the U23 page, better or worse than scouting. Thanks.
Monitor riders, it's definitely useful to see how good they really are.
I don't think sponsoring is useful, or at least worth it's money.
U23 races are, in my experience, definitely better than scouting. You have a higher chance of finding the best U23 riders there, and also of multiple regions.
Scouting might only be better if you are searching for a rider from 1 specific region, but even then U23 races might be more useful.
I often search for u23 riders in u23 results and monitor them instead
The talent estimation of riders is actually pretty accurate if you have a good scout. The problem is it's not based on the riders stats but on how many stars the rider has left to train. So a rider with 50 in every stat but say 5-7 stars of improvement still to go in each stat will be labelled as future great or promising whereas someone with 68 in every stat but only 1-2 stars of improvement will be a nohoper ... even if when all there stars are "used up" the nohoper ends up better.
