Activation code invalid after hardware changes

Been running PCM 2014 just fine ever since launch, but this afternoon, it won't comply..

Earlier today, i changed my motherboard and CPU, whenever i launch PCM, it will say the following:

"The Activation Key is not valid any more due to significant changes of the computer hardware configuration. Press "Retry" to reactivate the application.
If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support."

I try to re-activate it, and it give me an error.. Tried to deactivate it, and i get the exact same message as above, just replace activation key with deactivate..

Tried to re-install the game, same thing happens.

Only way to resolve this, is contacting support?

Well, that doesn't really help, as i already changed the hardware, so deactivating is not an option now either =/

You could also go to a command prompt, change to the folder where the file is and run 'regedit delete_all_activation_data.reg

Would need more specific instructions to do so, not very often i use cmd.

Should I uninstall the game before doing that, and how do i locate the folder from cmd?

I e-mailed Focus, and the soloution was rather simple.

1. Press Windows and R keys then type REGEDIT in the Run window and click the OK button.

2. Click the Yes button.

3. Open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER then the key Software and the key Cyanide.

4. Delete the key Pro Cycling Manager 2014 and close the Registry Editor.


Then just activate it again.
