Every year I hope that it will be possible again to play a online season with a custom DB. I always end up disappointed. But even a single tour or stage is no fun this year.
Why can't I choose a start list in multiplayer? And that would not be a big problem if the AI teams came to the tour with there strongest squads.
I think that a online season is infeasible, there are too many different variations in a career to allow that. the different divisions and which stages are in each divisions are just too much for their servers I think.
the startlist feature is disabled I think because off the option to allow the other players to choose their own riders, why forcing a player that plays as Lotto for example to focus on Greipel and Van den Broeck. the AI teams come to the Tour with lesser riders to allow the players to play against eachother and not the AI

That's not true, in pcm 2011 or 2012 you could play a online season. So it is possible.

Again, not true. The startlist used to be optional, so you can choose if you want to race with realistic teams.
If there was a start list option, people who cant play against good AI teams, could make a startlist with terrible teams and play. My friend and I want to ride the tour he plays with Sky and I play with Astana, but it's no fun if Contador does not start. I just want to play online with a start list, this used to be possible with older versions of the game, so why did they take it out.? Another terrible mistake by Cyanide.
First Armada now this, it used to be my favorite game but eliminating all cool multi player modes really makes me mad. It seems they only care about making money, there should be another cycling game out there, maybe some competition makes Cyanide realize they need to make a good game.
And they rely on the community to much. Every year at the release it's like a beta version. After 5 patches it becomes sort of playable, but all cool graphics and DB's are made by the community not Cyanide. Lazy bastards.
I agree so much with you Indurain! The Season feature is REALLY missed! Me and some danish players enjoyed it very much in "tht old days". A shame it has been removed! I could understand it, if they(Cyanide) had some other features working well instead! Why remove something working, and replace it with something that doesn´t work! It seems like the online part is getting more and more unplayable for every new version! And that Cyanide not even patch it, shows that they don´t care! Or that they don´t want to for some reason! Sad, cause they piss on the people buing this game year after year. SHAME on YOU, Cyanide!!!
