Whenever i simulate a race, which you pretty much have to from time to time..
My sprinters always end up around the 30th 40th position.. nowhere near the actual sprint..
Now i have a custom pro contentinental team with a lot of young riders but still my sprinter is 78 (v Hummel) and should be a top10 in any low tier race easily..

what i do is make to 2 other sprinters help him in the strategy, but trying this and let no one help him always ends up in results around 30th 40th place..

Is there something i am missing ?

Maybe your rider is missing fitness?

Fitness is fine, i played for half a season now so it can't be a fluke

no it is happening in every race, i know that i shouldn't win the big races, but finishing 40th with my best sprinter everytime is getting kind of annoying.

Fitness comes from the fitness planning, so I am not sure what you mean with "I played for half a season"

I can't get sensible results for quick simming races. Basically I only use it for stages or races where I don't care about the outcome at all. It used to be ok (PCM 2012-13) to let the PC sim a flat stage when you hold the lead with a strong stage racer, but now anything can happen. I understand that you can get splits due to echelons etc but things happen way too often.
In short, quick sim outcome is usually far too different to how I could do with a 3d attempt.
