An English doubt
MARSUPILAMI
You know, I don´t talk English perfectly (I´m Spanish xD) and I have a doubt. How can you say the future form of "can"?

Please, I need your help because I don´t want to put it badly...

Depends on what you want to say. Any example of what exactly you do want to say?

EDIT1: Irony - Admir helping with English!
EDIT2: This could've been posted in Pedro. Not really sure it deserves a thread.

Well, I don't wanna be a grammar nazi, and probably I am not the best person to tell you this (Italy).
But you can't precede the auxiliary "do" to a verb Smile
It's incredbile, infact almost everyone in this forum does it.

I actually started using it when I saw that most of guys over the forum are using it, so I thought it's correct (even American & English guys). But thanks anyways, it's always nice to learn something new and improve my English! Smile

Oh, I'm not always using it!

The Hobbit
I suppose it is

I will be able to

But as Admir said, it depends on the context.

I agree with The Hobbit, "I will be able to" should cover most of your bases. If you are using "Can" to introduce a sentence ("Can I do this?) you would want to switch it around ("Will I be able to do this?"Wink. It is just one of those constructions that English isn't very good at doing succinctly, unlike a lot of European languages. Can you put up the specific sentence that you want to translate?
