Cycling Interview: Sam Bennett

We might have the chance to interview Sam Bennett.

Sam Bennett is currently riding for Team NetApp - Endura (soon to be Team Bora - Argos 18) which he joined this year.
2010 he was a stagiare at FDJ.com, 2011 to 2013 he was at the An Post team.

2008 he won the European Junior Points Race Championships, 2010 and 2011 he won the Irish U23 road championships, 2013 2 An Post Ras stages and 1 Tour of Britain stage win. This year he won the Race around Cologne (Rund um Köln), the Clasica de Almeria and a stage win at the Bayern Rundfahrt so far.

1: What was it like growing up and training on the hills of Carrick On Suir like the great Sean Kelly had done before, I think you both have similar strengths do you think you can achieve results like his as your progress in your career?

2: Obviously being with the An Post team for many years and then moving to NetApp with the jump from Continental races around Europe and Ireland, Kermesses etc was it hard to dive into World Tour level in Tirreno etc?

3: How special was it to finish in the velodrome in Roubaix being a first year pro?

4: How scary was it and did you think your career was over even do it had just started after that bad crash in Carrick in December 2009 I think?

Had a similar question in mind Pfft

After a great Tirreno, you were not selected for Milan - San Remo (to my own surprise, I had listed you as an outsider Pfft ). Do you think you would've been in the lead group and do you feel a grudge for not being allowed to start?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
