Keeping riders fresh
Overparduffer
I've read stuff about limiting riders to 60 race days during the year but about how many days should I rest them in between races? I recently threw a rider into the Tour of Qatar just to build up some rhythm but then wanted him to be ready for the Tour of Oman 3 or 4 days later. His freshness was average going into the second race. I assumed a GC contender could handle 6 flat days followed by 3 or 4 days off.

There is no limit in races days.

Also you did not say how his freshness was at the end of the Tour of Qatar. So I doubt that the recovery is responsible for the freshness.

There is a new feature in the game regarding freshness, which has been discussed before. Try the forum search or look in this subforum.

My search for freshness left me quite confused. Some folks said it was random others said it had to do with their training. I saw no consensus on how it worked. I guess I will keep playing and see if I notice anything further.
