Bankrupt / change team in Careermode

Hi guys,

Do anyone of you know, why it is possible to play eventhough your team is bankrupted. I think it is unrealistic, especially when it is a manager game. Why dont I get fired?


In some of the previous versions of PCM it was possible to get offers from other teams if you, as a manager made good results. Is that not possible anymore?

Hope to get some answers.

Your team is not bankrupt, else you would not be able to spend more money. The sponsors pay a monthly fee. If you spend more then they pay, you need to win races or fire your staff.

In previous games, there was a game over. I think it happend after 3 or 4 months in debt. Or was it at the end of the season. So instead of fixing your balance, you can just wait and see.


You cannot change the team in the game, but you can sign other sponsors. And depending on the interests of the new sponsor you need to rebuild your team. So theoretically you have more possibilities than before. (BTW: Do you know of a DS who switched to another team?)

I agree that you shouldn't be able to change teams but I think that Johan Bruynel (can't spell) changed from astana to RadioShack (or am I thinking about someone else).
