Start your game and press load. Check the number of the career you want to edit and then open the corresponding DB. |

It's a tool designed to edit DB's. The best one IMO is Lachi's Editor. The 2014 one can be found at the top of the Latest Downloads list. Check it at the top right corner of this page. |

OK, now that you have my editor and a tutorial for it, let's talk about the editing.
First off the basics:
1. All careers are based on a database. If you want to start a new career with changed stats, you have to edit the database.
2. But if you want to edit stats in your career so that you can continue your career. You have to edit the save.
From your initial post, I assume that you want to change your career so here's an example how to change the name of your team:
1. Find your career (look at post #5 above) and open it with my editor.
2. Open the table containing the teams (The team table is called DYN_team)
3. Find your team, this can be done by sorting the team names by clicking the column header
4. Click on the team name and type the correct name
5. Now follow the steps 8-9 in my tutorial and make sure to give another name.
Finally, in the game, click the "load" button and then select the career you just edited.
If you want to edit other stuff, look in other tables. Normally the tables names start with DYN_, so cyclists are in the table DYN_cyclist. The contracts are in the table CYN_contract_cylist, and so on...

If Team Sky is your team, then click "use team filter".
Else you have to find the ID of Team Sky in DYN_team and then use it to filter DYN_cyclist, see image.

Carac: current stat of the rider in that attribute
Capital: used in savegames by Cyanide to determine when the rider will improve
Limit: the limit of the development of the rider on that stat, calculated by the game in the beginning of careers
(when editing a non-save .cdb, the first is filled normally, with the stat of the rider, while the other two are 0).
