Which is the best out there right now? Really wanna start a serious career.

I have tested most of the dbs the last years and the PCM.Daily.Expansion packs are the most stable database around, depending on what you want in a db but for me stats are the most important and for that PCM.Daily is better than the others! NOTE: Its gonna take a while, so find another db for now!!

The Focus DB seems to be good from the content PoV, however the stats are shockingly off. They're about as acurate as the ones in the official DB

Spanishbase also is a good DB, but the download takes a lot of time.
In that field, FDB is one of the best
You also have another packs like CyM Spain, PCM Spain, Ivicycling DB...

At this rate I'm just going to wait until there is a PCMdaily update. I've tried with most of the other ones available but no luck, so I've given up.

Do you have a program that will unzip files? (Winrar, 7zip, etc.)
Are you sure you are following the install instructions and transferring the files into the correct folders once you've downloaded them?

Haven't tried to download Spanishbase yet, but if I'm honest as I've not had to modify the game in this way before, I'm not certain on exactly what I need to do to make it actually work correctly.

How stable is your internet? If its getting stuck at a certain % maybe your internet is cutting out? If you aren't using a download manager, I would suggest using one if you aren't as this might solve your downloading issue. Otherwise I dont know.

There seems to be a lot of problems with downloading my DB, so i will be honest and say to choose another DB. The one i've found best is the PCM Focus DB. Also i will be making a new DB that will be easier to download, but won't be out until sometime after the Tour. |

It seems like you haven't downloaded the file completely. Try downloading it again and wait for the download to finish before you end the download.
Also, your antivirus software could be the problem. Maybe shutting it off for a few minutes will allow you to download the database. For the record, I've tested all databases listed above on virusses and none came out positive (which means there are no virusses).

A couple of questions:?
1) Which db had the team cars/feeding zones in?
2) I also remember that one db I think the Spanish had high flat stats for most of the riders?
3) Also are all the db's only in one language?
4) Also which db is nearest the PCM stats?

1 - Some stages might have graphical things in some stages (they can't be added in stages that come with the game, only stages added by the DB, so usually it's a smaller number), but ultimately it's has 0 effect in game, only graphical.
