I have bought all pcm's since 2011 and when I bought pcm 2012 I started to play online with a friend of mine but when i bought pcm 2013 I couldn't play online because every time I tried to enter it would send me a message saying that the race's file had been edited and I tought that that was happening because I had downloaded a different database from pcmdaily but now I bought pcm 2014 and the same thing is happening because whenever i try to start a race online I recieve a message saying that the file has been edited and doesn't match the original file.
I would be very appreciated if someone could help me out because i really loved playing pcm 2012 online.
I just tried to find a race again and it says that the file has been edited and doesn't match the server... does anyone else has this problem? Both me and my friend have this problem and we don't know what we are doing wrong. Could it be because of the ports? I don't have them open is it really necessary to open them?
Nah, it can't be problem with ports. I had no problems playing PCM13/PCM14 without opening ports, so it can't be that. However, your problem seems rare and random and I really don't know what could be problem.
You can now just hope someone with the same issue/solution comes soon.
yeah I didn't really thought that this was because of the ports... it shouldn't be because of the real name database that me and my friend downloaded either, I mean last year I really thought that this had happened because of that but I didn't downloaded anything this year and I'm having the same problem
You could try re-installing the game, as you might have accidentally deleted some files or such. If that doesn't work, you should contact Cyanide, perhaps.
