Hope someone can help. I bought a new PC last weekend ostensibly to play PCM 14. As with other PCM purchases I have done so via Steam. I wanted to revert back to PCM 13 until necessary patching takes place so after accessing my Steam account I installed it onto the new computer. How do I recover the profile that was on my old computer given that it has died through Steam.
You have to create a new profile using the same information as on the old computer.
As far as I know, it is not possible to take over your achievements.
If you want to continue your career, you can copy the save game but if you are playing with a extended DB, you have to install that DB on your new computer first.

I have a question how do you retrieve your player key that you created when you installed the game on an old PC. I have tried everything including creating a new profile and still get an invalid player key message. Please let me know about this. Thanks a lot!
I do not know, that it will help, but try to uninstall the game from the new PC. It worked for me, but I am not sure, that it will help you.

The player key is the same as the activation key.
Basically you should have to do this:
1. Install the game
2. Activate the game
3. Start the game
4. Create a new profile (using the same information as before)
