Game carshes after decompressing on loading screen of any stage

I need help.
I've emailed cyanide but haven't received any news back. So I can start the game but when I play any stage (in career, single stages and armada) the game crashes when it gets to 100% decompressing. I have tried many times. I've uninstalled from steam and reontalled twice. I have verified game cache. Now I'm out of ideas. I can add the crash report if it's required. Thanks in advance.
The day when bike gears turn automatic. = Why not now? They did it with cars.

We cannot help you if you don't give us any information. What are your computer specs? Does your computer comply with the minimum system requirements of the game? is the game patched? Did it work in previous games? Have your tested with different graphical options? |

Ok I will answer those one by one. I'm am almost certain that my specs are fine. Gigabyte gtx 550ti overclocked edition. Core 2 duo e8400 @ 3.00 Ghz. 4gb ram. This happened before the 1.1.0.1 patch but I haven't had time to download it from the website yet coz it requires logins and its a Dutch website. The same computer has been playing pcm 2012 for a long time at the highest graphics and yes j have tweaked the options and tried. Nothing has worked. After I get home I'll post a crash report if that helps. Lachi plz help me.

You should not need to download anything from a dutch site (not that I have anything against the dutch, but the official page is french). The patch would be here but I don't think that you can install it when using the steam version. (But you can verify the version of the game on the initial screen in the game.)

Oh right it's French sorry. This is the first pcm game I've bought on steam but how do I verify the game version. The steam shortcut just open a the game and the first thing that comes up is the video and then my profile. Is it in the menu of the game or the autorun?

If it is not shown in the game, then right click PCM.exe, then select properties, then look at "details".
PCM.exe should be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PCM 2014\
BTW: You don't need to register on the official page. And I posted the download link, in case you missed it.

Why exactly are you asking this?
I try to figure out what your problem could be. If your game has not been patched, then I would have recommended to contact steam. If it is patched, then I would have recommened that you wait for a reply from Cyanide. |
