PCM.DAILY FAVOURITE MUSICAL ARTIST CONTEST
So guys, I had this idea while I was at school today. Since most of us PCM.daily members like listening to music I thought of a mixture of the PCM.daily Favourite Cyclist Contest and the Rate the band above you thread. It is the PCM.daily Favourite Musical Artist Contest.
Basically, it's format is the same as the Favourite Cyclist Contest. You guys get to name your 10 favourite musical artists. The number 1 will get 10 points, the number 2 gets 9, the number 3 gets 8 and so on. At the end of the voting the 64 artists with the most points will be fully randomly drawn. From then on it's a knockout tournament.
I'll give an example of how you can nominate your favourite bands (while immediately publishing my list  ):
1.  Kodaline (10 points)
2.  Kensington (9 points)
3.  Coldplay (8 points)
4.  Lorde (7 points)
5. Disclosure (6 points)
6.  OK Kid (5 points)
7.  Foster the People (4 points)
8. Muse (3 points)
9.  Flume (2 points)
10. Passenger (1 point)
NOTE: you don't have to include country flags and the number of points if you don't want to.
So now you know what's up, it's time to nominate your favourite musical artists. If I get enough nominations, voting will last till 30/6/2014 21:00 CET, otherwise I'll go on till we have enough artists. LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GO!!!

Interesting concept, will probably participate later.
I will most definitely not know everyone I have to vote on though. Will you link to the most famous(maybe most youtube views) song of the band/singer when the voting starts?

Btw. most important qustion of all: onyl living/ performing artists or all-time? Because 90% of my list will probably be dead or not performing artists/bands.

@ Jesleyh: I was also thinking about that, but I think it's kinda boring to link to the same song over and over again. Maybe it's a better idea to alternate between three or four different songs?
@ Avin: I'm still a teenager, so all artists on my list are still active (and some of them fairly unknown). You can indeed also nominate retired or deceased artists
