The third, or perhaps second, cobbled race on the PT calendar, and the one with the least amount of cobbles. Is there enough to do damage, or could a sprinter actually excel here?

Whatever happens, this seems like a particularly ideal route for Bewley and Boonen.
Stats of the best cobbled specialists (Cobbles, Sprint):
 | Burghardt | Marcus | 84 | 69 | | Bewley | Sam | 83 | 83 | | Cancellara | Fabian | 83 | 71 | | Vanspeybrouck | Pieter | 82 | 66 | | Boonen | Tom | 81 | 83 | | Blythe | Adam | 81 | 76 | | Summerhill | Danny | 81 | 70 | | Sibilla | Michel | 81 | 66 | | Bakari | Amadou | 81 | 61 | | Nolf | Frederik | 80 | 63 | | Gusev | Vladimir | 80 | 57 | | Fenn | Andrew | 79 | 70 | | Vanmarcke | Sep | 79 | 70 | | Zepuntke | Ruben | 79 | 70 | | Jacobs | Pieter | 78 | 65 | | De Vocht | Wim | 78 | 65 | | Albert | Niels | 78 | 63 |
Startlist:

Last year:
The race split apart on the cobbles, but it all came back together. Sam Bewley took the win ahead of Pozzato and Cancellara.

Interesting to see if Zepuntke could go well here I like him as an outside bet for this type of race. |

Hope to do well here.
Less cobbles could mean a group of 10-25 in the end I hope.
Than Vanmarcke should be able to get a top10 at least with Ballan, Boom, Nooytens all possibly also scoring in there. |

I hope that Zepuntke attacks kinda early and sits with the break. If it gets caught (which used to happen in this race back in the days when I played pcm) I hope Pippo might finally give me a nice result

Yeah will be hard to break Boonan and bastard Bewley monotony. Hope of course for big Fab to somehow create selection.

A top 10 with whoever can be bothered to sprint would be nice. Perhaps Stallaert again?

A good sprint should be useful here, meaning we'll have to attack
I'll go with Bewley, thinking he'll get another win in Gent-Wevelgem after last year's dominant sprint. |

National bonus, pleeeease
This time I am a fan of slow easy race to ensure Degenkolb will be ready to help Boonem in final sprint.

Always fun to see a surpise winner, great result from Sinkeldam
Really happy with the 4th from Sieberg, he got some great results in cobble races last season and does it again.
Pippo... Now that is a WTF-moment

Damn....
Great ride by my team and still far too less. Probably one of this race losers rider/scoring wise.
If only one had joined the attack...
Brilliant report. Thrilling until the end. |

This is bullshit. This is utter fucking bullshit. Sure, Vanspeybrouck can't sprint like the others but how in the hell did he get dropped on the flat?
If we relegate it will be because of shitty underperformances like this.

Thrilling report of really weird race. 3rd place and 2 more in Top20 is still acceptable result.
And now back to England!?

Pleased with the strength of Cance and anyone but Boonan winning in Belgium I enjoy! So despite finishing at the back of the favs group I will take it.
Great race and great report thanks SN!

Not a great result for me, really was hoping from more from summerhill.
Certainly an interesting race, and unexpected winner.
