Nominees:

Stage 21 - Vuelta
Kloden, Gesink, Arroyo, Mercado and Sanchez Gil down as Vuelta nears its conclusion. They lose 3 minutes

Stage 7 - Vuelta
Kloden crashes on his own with very poor timing in a mountain stage. He fought for the rest of the stage but lost too much time, wrecking his podium hopes.

Stage 4 - Tour de Suisse
Crashes normally come at turns, but Manuel Medina crashes within metres of the line in the long finishing straight. Ricco and Piepoli amongst the fallers while Julich, Posthuma and Castano abandoned.

Stage 10 - Langkawi
Bernhard Kohl tries to throw away his Langkawi crown, while you can see Manan celebrating his stage win.

Stage 5, Tour Down Under
The first crash to befall race leader Reihs on the final stage. The group got up and began chasing before while leading the chain, Vicioso crashed again taking many down for a 2nd time, including Reihs again.

Also nominated: Freire's crash on Stage 9 of the Vuelta which cost him a chance of the points jersey.
