World Tour reduction

Hey guys,

what would happen if I reduced the number of WT teams down to 9?

I like the idea of having a smaller elite group fighting for the big races, so I thought maybe I change 10 of the WT teams into Pro-Conti teams and promote 1 Pro-Conti team (which I want to play with) to the WT.

What I want to know is - would that be a problem for the game?

I restructured "Divisions" in many versions of PCM without any problems.
The only thing being is that you cannot add more then 200 riders in a race. A safe practice is to never put more then 22 teams in the World Tour (9 riders X 22 teams is 198 riders for grand tours).

All World tour events are found in STA_race table and have a "1" in the gene_b_ForceProtourInvitation in the database.

So if you decide to only have 9-10 WT teams, they would get the nod for WT events. The remaining teams in the events would be random ProConi.

To avoid all that confusion, you could also edit the teams invited to WT events with actual team numbers.
This can be found in your database under STA_race, then scroll to gene_ilist_fkIDteam and put the numbers of your WT teams and any ProConi teams you wants to invite.

Thanks! I knew some of that, but not all. Good help! And since I don't plan to do huge races with over 200 riders I won't get a problem. Sweet. Thank you!
