The recent triple header of races means plenty of ranking points have been awarded, but who has scored the most? Below you can see the table for just these three races, plus the oiubts scored from each race.

Wikipedia came out strongest. Taylor Phinney scored big in Catalunya, despite only finishing 3rd, while Pinot was 13th in Paris Nice and Tirreno saw Van Garderen 7th and Summerhill in the KoM. Not far behind are Vesuvio who missed out on the really big points in both races but GC finishes of 3rd, 5th and 7th plus a stage win for Swift saw them go strongly.

So consistency took the top spots, but the next best 3 were those who won the races. Pendletons, Good Energy and Tinkoff had much quieter races when they did not win, but the win was enough to achieve a high score.

And here is how that affects the standings, with Vesuvio-Accumalux going top, chased by Wikipedia and Good Energy. Good Energy did hold the lead following Tirreno, but have let it slip once the other races finished. Bouygues and Tinkoff move up, while former leaders Pokerstars have slipped to 7th.

ING have fallen the furthest, but stay clear of the relegation zone, where Aker, B&O, VolksWagen, Prio and Santander can be found.

I thought going into the season that this would be one of the toughest parts of the season for my squad and I was right. We can start to get ready for the classics now though!

This is not good at all, and we havent even reached the cobbles. Atleast I think we can conclude that those tipping us for victory was wrong.

Whilst SRB didn't have spectacular races at any of the trio of stage races we held our heads above water at all three I feel.

You'd have expected Cancellara to take the opening stage in Italy and Coppel just missed out on a few places in Spain. But I cannot complain these races were not major targets.

Pendleton's and Rothaus did really well I think out of these. Festina definitely did worse than you would have expected. If these stage race superstars under perform in such a way in GT's Santander are definately in big time trouble of course Smile

That's pretty much how I feel about my team as well. There's no point in downplaying your chances though. A bad start isn't anything more than a bad start.

Without a question the 3 GT`s will be my weakest races. So I really needed to score in the triple header.

Having Vanmarcke, Ballan, Nooytens, Boom in the cobbled races, I hope to top10 in all of them with eventually a top5 in one and a good total scoring of those 4 together.

Then I might already have a decent gap before Keizer actually starts his season. Not counting the ITT event.

Very pleased with this. I feel like Van Garderen can match Frank Schleck in the hills and Summerhill can try to pry open something of an advantage in the cobbled classics over Vesuvio.

Becherovka on the other hand will absolutely crush it with Bewley, and are well positioned so far.

SotD, I wouldn't count you out just yet, every team will have a few under performing races and particularly if that hits at a GT, we could see a major shakeup.

This might become a very long season thinking of the rankings Pfft

It's a brilliant start from Good Energy, and the same goes for Rothaus - Aegon, Pendleton's and Team Bpost - Vlaanderen. They've scored far better than expected, at least compared to my expectations. Congrats!

My top10 goal got first serious hit, I expected much better overall performance in both TA and VCC. Now I desperately need overperforming March & April!

Not where I hoped to me now, I expected more from Pozzato in Tirreno, hopefully we can turn it somewhat around and score more points in the coming races, Pippo got a pretty good trackrecord in Milan-San Remo

Well, well, well, Vueling stabilizing in the middle. That's great. It's all about survival this season, and so far, the team has performed very well - especially in the past three races with double stage wins + a 7th for Reimer in MSR in the next update Wink
