I have not installed any databases, I did a complete reinstallation of the steam game and still have no sound at all.

Thats a good thing you dont want to listen to the pcm commentator and his repeating generic phrases

No there is no sound whatsoever, no music, no commentator

Haha. Not to sound stupid, but have you checked the in game settings and maybe those of your computer?

yes all of the in-game settings are up to 100 and all my system sounds are working fine

Have your soundfiles in your game installation under (Folder installed to)\PCM2013\sound been messed up by any chance?
