Definitely not a fan of this years profile.
Last 50 km or so will probably be all I watch this year...

As most of you know, Boonen won't compete because of his wife's miscarriage earlier this week... But who're the favourites?

Sagan & Cancellara I think.
Cavendish might have a shot, but depends on how it's raced, ofc.
On the other hand, punchers might have a shot, but depends how it's raced, ofc

No Le Manie means that Cavendish is my favourite. His team is incredibly strong, and he seems to be in decent shape. |

I'm going to say Sagan, but add two unusual names: Sam Bennett and Michael Matthews.

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Mmmm... I don't see Bennett on ProCyclingStats's startlist for MSR.
Matthews was indeed climbing very well in P-N.
For sure Sagan and Degenkolb are the first names that come to my mind when trying to sum up favourites for this race. But the fun thing about MSR is that anything can happen. Both punchers and sprinters have a shot at this race. So when you look at riders who could potentially do something here I could name around 30-40 riders, easily.
Form of the day and luck will be decisive.

Hedging my bets and I'll likely still be wrong but Sagan, Degenkolb, Cavendish or Cancellara (if he's in moto mode...and with a moto in front of him ) for me.
Also a secondary preview here https://www.c-cycling.com/sites/Milano..._2014.html not that you can beat Inrng or that I agree with everything MrC says but still pretty good.

I've just put 30PCM$ on Costa. Worth it?

Considering the odds on the betting front and the predicted wet weather I might be tempted with a punt on Kristoff (unfortunately not an option in fantasy PCM$ land though).
I've effectively picked 5 now, mights as well go for half the field (then you can rule them out).

Bennett isn't going. Barta, Dempster and Huzarski heir "big" names there. No, i don't know why Bennett isn't going either.
