A hilly 110km parcours will host the second Asian Mixed NC-race!

Again a very short startlist with only nine participants, of which 5 riders come from Mongolia and 2 from Qatar and Uzbekistan.

3 riders make it into the break of the day, one nation (Uzbekistan) is missing:

Albourdainy (Qatar/Metinvest)
Delgerbayar (Mongolai/Oz Cycling)
Tuulhangai (Mongolai/Evian)

As seen so often, this group would be allowed to stay clear and have it's fight (at least for the Mongolian competition) for glory..

And this fight is on with 8km remaining! Delgerbayar (Oz) won't wait for the finishing climb and attacks the group, immediately followed by Albourdainy.. compratiot Tuulhangai struggles to follow..

Albourdainy takes out the race and also Delgerbayar crowns himself a national champion, as he could hold off Tuulhangai by 12" eventually!

Top-favorite Lagutin spent a few relaxing hours back in the group and just did enough to secure his title: attacking the group 5km before finish and no problem to finish 40" ahead of his only challenger Abrekov!

A flat 39km timetrial-parcours - let's get the fun started..

Qatar/ A lack of timetrial-skills won't automatically make for a boring timetrial. Lesson learned by watching Metinvest's Qataris:

Esmaeli and Albourdainy had exactly the same split-time and looked equally "strong" over the whole parcours.. eventually, one second would decide who's Qatar's crowned TT-champion 2013: Albourdainy, completing a double!

Mongolia/ Not as close as the Qatar-competition, but a thrilling race as well:

Daspuntsag (Gazelle) gave Altanzul (Evian) a hard time to defend a small gap at the intermediate, but the latter fought hard and wins the Mongolian TT-title by just 5" on Daspuntsag!

Uzbekistan/ Sergei Lagutin has a much easier time on the road and holds off his only opponent by 50" to complete his double - finally a favorite, who takes out both NC-titles.
