Trying to download Sali's historical database 1996, but it won't let me extract the program files folder to my Program Files(x86) Cyanide-PCM Season 2013 section. Not sure if I've missed something obvious out or there is another problem.
I have no problem extracting the other folder the documents folder to My Documents at all.
Any solution? |

Extract it to any other place, for example the desktop.
Then copy the extracted files and folders to the program folder. |

Thanks, ok have done this. Now how do I get this database onto the Database option screen in the PCM game so that I can choose it? |

If you have extracted the files and moved them as described, it will show up in the option screen. If it's not there you haven't extracted correctly. |

I couldn't get this to work, but I then copied in the 1996 db into the same folder with my other databases and now it works in game. The new problem I have now, is that I can't get the team tops and the rider's faces like Indurain etc, but strangely enough I get some rider's real name faces.
I'm sure this has something to do with the 3D and Gui folders right? |

Apparently you did not put the extracted files into the correct folder.

This is what I've done:
1) Extracted the Documents file to My Documents PCM 13 and it appears as Documents with just the 1996 DB.
2) Extracted Program Files to desktop (as suggested by you as I couldn't extract directly to Program Files) Once extracted I then copied Program File into Cyanide/PCM13 folder in Program Files and it appears as Program Files.
Since then I've done different things to get it to work, but I guess I'm missing an obvious step here in getting this to work.

You should not have a folder in your PCM folder named 'Program Files'. You have to copy the stuff from inside the Program Files folder to the PCM-folder. |

You should copy the content of the PCM13 folder (from the extracted program files folder) to the original PCM13 folder (in C:\program files) |

Well I've now done this and am now getting the riders faces and all the team tops except one team on the race selection screen BUT in-game I still have no team jerseys.
The content inside the Program Folder (3D and Gui) has been copied into the main PCM Folder in Program Files where it gave me the option to overwrite. |

I just checked, and the creator has named a folder incorrectly, thus creating the problem that jerseys are not installed the proper place.
You can re-download and re-install, and it should work.
Alternatively, you can fix it yourself. In the 3D folder you should have a folder called 'Cyclist'. Open it and move the content to 'Cyclists' |

Hooray have done this and it now works. I thought it might be something to do with folders and I'd nearly solved it on my own. Thanks for checking. |

As said already I've now got this working with the jerseys in-game, but for some reason I can't get the Once team jersey up (all the other teams are ok) I've checked in the 3D folder and all the team jerseys are in the 'cyclists folder' .
Not sure if this is a game problem or a problem I have with the folders. |
