Cyclists of the Year 2013
Atlantius
So we are approaching the time of the year when the awards start taking more focus than the racing. Artificial as it may be I rather like it.

This is the thread to collect and discuss the various "Cyclist of the Year" awards and nominations to give an overview.
I will collect the nominations/winners in this first post for each nation with links to their PCS pages to make it easier to remind yourselves of why they were nominated.

I hope you want to participate.

Denmark
Jakob Fuglsang (28)
Michael Mørkøv (28)
Lasse Norman Hansen (21)
Mads Pedersen (17)
Amalie Dideriksen (17)

Shonak
Riccardo Zoidl has been named "rising star" at Austria's celebration of sportsman of the year.
Kittel is Germany's cyclists of the year, chosen by magazine "Radsport".

Belgium has two cycling trophees, if I'm not mistaken.
Flandrien of the year was Greg Van Avermaet, I know that much. I think Bakelants won the other award, but I can't be sure, I'd have to look it up.

No offence, but Van Der Poel kicks Kelderman's ass. Sure, Kelderman is a great talent, but Van Der Poel has world class ass-kicking powers and he deserves that award. If you can't see that, you're too much of a fanboy and blind to other talent Pfft

@Ian I know Wink
But this was the last year where Kelderman could win it(I believe he won it last year though, though I cannot find it back), while VdP will probably win it the next 5 years Pfft
