I have noticed that in PCM13 it takes a really long time for scouted riders getting to the top, and I have seen careers where no riders under the age of 26 ends up inside top 30 in the Tour de France. I want to do something with that and are going to make a new add-on to PcmDaily's including a lot more amateur riders, as well as the best junior riders in the world, making up for the aged riders in the future of the careers. I will also delete the riders from Daily's DB who have retired years ago, as I don't want them to still be in the game.
I have already made a first publishment of this with perfectly matched stats dated end of July, but I did not publish that one here on Daily. Now that the season is over (almost) I think I can make a good replacement for the Daily DB.
- New stats for every rider, especially from the smaller teams, based on results and racing in 2012 and 2013 (for those who have results in these years; for those riders without results at all the last years, I have to go some more years back of course)
- More Elite-2 talents
- The best junior riders from 1995 (so they can be able to get teams by 2014)
- Deletion of riders retiring years ago
I am pretty sure this will be out for downloading in about 3 weeks, which means 14 november, as I already have the basic. I will have a deeper look in the Daily DB later, and will maybe adjust the favorite races columnas well, to get it more realistic (I don't really know if that has been done)
I understand that this will be published a bit too late, as 2014 db's have already been published; but I still think that this can be worth downloading. The stats for every rider has been updated, 24 of the most promising 2nd-year juniors have been added, and I will publish the db next week, after making an update on the "favourite race" in DYN-Cyclist, as well as the popularity columns in DYN_Cyclist and DYN_Race.
