Long Loading Times

I encountered huge stage loading times. But once the stage has loaded, the game runs very smoothly. Basically, even on the lowest graphic settings, a simple Tour de France stage takes 6-10 minutes (!) to load. It seems as if it has trouble loading the road geometries, as I see "Road intersection geometries" and "Road geometries" alternating for most of this time. What's also strange is that then is load the road geometries for a couple of minutes, then something other, as for example landscapes and water geometries and then it goes back to road geometries. The game is not playable like this.

Have you installed the new PCMDaily DB?

If so you should wait for the no-equipment version as that will ease up on loading times.

I Have the FCD Patch, what is this no-equipment version? Can I have It also for other patches?

PCMDaily sometimes make a "light" version of their DB which does include equipment and thus uses the games original equipment. This makes the game faster as it has to load a lot less graphics. You should be able to edit the FCD DB yourself. However, I don't know how to do it. Although I do seem to remember someone explaining it last year or the year before.

Thank you! But the peety is that my pc can read also high graphic settings with no lag, the problems came only from the chargements, so disappointing!
