Hi I am altering the divisions of teams and upping the division sizes (WT: 20, CNP: 25 CNT: the rest) and was wondering where to alter the number of teams a race can have in. I still want the Tour to have 4 wild cards so now instead of 22 teams it will have 24. I am using Lachi's editor. |

STA_Race_rules decides the max amount of team per race (game max is 25 IIRC)

My experience says the limit is 200 riders rather than a number of teams. That means CT-races can have 25 teams (25*8=200) but GT's only 22 (22*9=198).
There might be an upper limit to teams as well, but the 200-rider limit seems the most important.

I tested a race with 26teams6riders, but that didn't work (PCM12 still)

So the conclusion is:
Not more than 200 riders and not more than 25 teams (doesn't the WC have 26 though?)

It does in PCM11, but in PCM12, it's 25 (not sure, been a month since I last played WC)

Where is the "division size" value?
I wanted to revert back to the 18 World Tour teams, so I have played around with my save game at the end of the current season and have force-relegated one more team to Pro Conti. I have used Lachi's editor.
However, when the year is to turn, the game crashes. I suspect it might have something to do with that "division size" value but I couldn't find anything like that in the editor.
I have checked as well this forum but couldn't find an answer to this problem.
Any clue? Thanks in advance.
