Hey guys,
I have some problems with adding a new created race and tried everything that is mentioned hier in this forum to solve the problem but it just didn`t work out.
I wanted to include the Race Rund um die Nürnberger Altstadt. So I downloaeded the two files calles c2_Nürnberg2012 and saved them in the stages folder of the game and also in the stages folder of my docs.
Then I used Lachis editor and added the race following the instructions given here in this forum. As a name for the file in the db I wrote c2_Nürnberg. and saved the database and also moved it the my docs.
Now the race is part of my calendar in the game but as profile Plouay-Plouay is shown (whereas under the profile I can see race informion to Nürnberg: race distance 82km for example). When I click on play the race, the game crashed.
I also tried to rename the files to nuernberg and used an already existing file (umag) but this also didn`t help. Another problem which occured was that I changed the Tour of Berlin from U23race to 2.2. That was the only thing I changed in the editor and now all stages of the race are "Plouay - Plouay".
As a DB is use the French community database. All the other races work fine.
Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance - |

Have you tried out this guide? It explains everything step by step very good (for me at least).

This is actually only about how to convert a normal race to a U23 race. I tried it the other way round with making a U23 race to a normal 2.2 race but this didn`t work. Plus: I wanted to add Rund um die Nürnberger Altstadt which has not been part of the game yet.
Nevertheless, thanks for your help, Timer99! |

I had this same problem. The problem is with the stage name.
Here is how I FIXED IT
I just took the name of another stage
eg. t1_rotterdamantw_01_2012
made a copy and changed the name of my stage to this BUT I added the letter b to the end of rotterdamantw
so now my stage looks like this:
t1_rotterdamantwb_01_2012
then I went to the sta_race table in the database and changed my gene_sz_filename to:
t1_rotterdamantwb
everything then works perfectly . I don't know why my original name doesn't work.

The original won't work because either the stage file wasn't there or it is named incorrectly so it could not be found are you sure you named it right? There is a special system to be followed:
Class_abbreviation_stage_year |

In the database, it's c2_nürnberg, stage name is c2_nürnberg_2013, or at least that's how it should be

Perhaps you could attach your db, I might find the problem there

First, for the sake of simplicity, I'd remove the ü and replace it with a standard u
Secondly, you have to rename the stage files to c2_nurnberg_2012. Without the underscore, the database will look for c2_Nürnberg2012 - and since you've typed in c2_Nürnberg, it's not working.

That's just how stages are often named to be kept organized, but you can name it whatever you want as long as it's named accordingly to the DB (DB: [name]; stage: [name] + _suffix)
