how are points calculated?

Hi

Question about points... how are those calculated? Based on the individual ranking? team ranking?

I have won a stage but was 5th overall by team, and i had 5 points

But i was 6th in the individual ranking, and 1st in team overall, and.. i had 24 points!

What is the logic?

It seems to be a combination of both, but generally team ranking is more important.

but is there any rule or pattern to check how many points could i take, maximum point, etc... or is random?
