Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank - Santos Tour Down Under

Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank
Difficulty: Hard
Evo of Attributes 0.2
Database-PCMDailyRealName DB Anglo Edition NC 2012 -

I have gave Alberto Contador 80 mountain instead of 82 so he know has 80/78, I have upped Kreuziger from 76 to 78 mountain so he know has 78/78. I also edited Kittel who now has 82 sprint instead of 81, Riblon i have upped 2 in mountain and 2 in hills so 75/75 and finally i have upped Quintana to 80 mountain(reason not gave him 81 or 82 is he will get better)

Hope you guys are ok with that i dont have time for much else to edit, by the way im not saying AC was 2 better in mountains in the TDF so i dont want people to think im overrating him i just think dropping him 2 is fair, what you all think?

Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank
After starting a story with Katusha when the game came out i have not really had motivation so thought Saxo would be a good choice i decided i would not bother waiting for the Expansion pack as i have aload of variants that i have downloaded by the great stage makers. Also as i have done 2 storys that have not lasted long i took more time with the intro etc i hope you guys are ok with a little intro and get into the racing.

Hi guys i am about to embark on this story with you i am the DS of SBTB.
I will give an intro about the team and preview my goals etc...

No as i said i did not do much else i only edited up 1 or 2 points of their main stats im not editng secondary stats. Mollema has 77/77 il give him 78/78, Ten Dam can stay as he already has 77 i think.

The Leaders:

Alberto Contador:
We have decide a scedule for Alberto that aims to peak in the demanding final weak of the Centenary Tour de France. His main goal is to win the TDF. He will start his season in Portugal were he will race the Volta ao Algarve in his build up to Paris Nice. It was hard to find a nice balanced scedule but we think we have found it after racing the Tour he aims to defend La Vuelta.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0001_zpsa975e907.jpg

Roman Kreuziger:
We are so happy to have Roman on board, he will lead the team in the Ardennes and will lead the Giro d'Italia. He will most probably have 2 GT's this year, the start of the season will be light though he will line up in Oman, and will then next race in Catalunya. So a very light start for Roman with April and May being big months for him.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0006_zps3613e819.jpg

Matti Breschel:
Matti will be are man for the Cobbles, we think he can get good results in these races. Their is a good chance he will not race a GT this year. He also has Eneco on his scedule and will line up in the Canadian Race's.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0015_zpsb016d4e0.jpg

Leader/Road Captain/Helper:

Mick Rogers:
Michael will mainly be a helper but he will also get his chance in some 1 week stage races with a ITT init. He will also be road captain as he was last year for Team Sky at the Tour, were his Timetrial skills will be invaluable in the TTT. You dont have long to wait to see Michael in action he will ride his NC's in Australia.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0016_zpsb045c92d.jpg

Free Element:

Rafal Majka:
After showing great promise helping Alberto Contador in the Vuelta, We expect big things from Majka. He knows he is not under pressure but we feel he can take the next step this year he will be Roman's Super Dom in the Giro and may ride the Tour de Suisse after the Giro we will check his condition though. He will lead the team in his home race in Poland were it should suit him with 2 summit finishes in the Italian Dolomites. He will only ride 1 GT this year, as we dont want him to burn out.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0012_zps945b0249.jpg

Daniele Bennati:
Our main sprinter, Daniele will tackle his home tour the Giro with high hopes, we are confident he can win a stage he just needs to not put pressure on his self. He will then take time off before he will ride Eneco and the Autumn Classics finishing his season in Lombardy.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0019_zps0ae753ac.jpg

Nicolas Roche:
Nicolas is also a new rider at Saxo he plans to resurrect his carear this year with us although mainly a helper he will lead the team very early on in the Santos Tour Down Under aswell as in Romandie and other 1 week races. He will also be a good help for the Ardennes, and his main goal is the Tour de France were he will be a big help to Alberto Contador.

Great scheduling. I like the fact that Bertie is trying to defend his Vuelta title while nonetheless aiming for the Tour. Also great to see you applied Majka for Tour de Pologne instead of a second grand tour. He and Kreuziger who will have a pretty much good rhythm at Giro after the classics, could be interesting.

And btw, I like your sponsor. Very reasonably objectives, wish I would get those once in my career.

Aussie Nationals

34.8kmITT

I arrived in Australia yesterday with some very good news Rafal Majka has extended for another 2 years, also signing on for next year on a 1 year deal is veteran Nikki Sorensen.

Michael Rogers, Rory Sutherland, and Jay McCarthy will be taking part today. Jonathan has decided to skip the ITT for the RR. Rory has the best fitness out of the riders taking part as he is staying in Aus after the Nationals for the Santos Tour Down Under.

These NC's do not always go to form, many will be at a different phase in their fitness after their winter training. A fit Rogers can certainly win the favourites should be Richie Porte, Michael Rogers, Rohan Dennis and Luke Durbridge. Also luck out for Cadel Evans and Cameron Meyer to suprise.

A huge day for Australian Cycling, for the first time ever we see the Orica GreenEdge jersey in action.

Welcome to Saxo Bank Rory.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0021_zpsa50ea0b6.jpg

Rory is 32 seconds off the provisional best time set by C.Meyer at the first check.

Rory Sutherland has the 3rd best time 25 seconds behind Meyer, Jay is 1'16" down through the first intermediate. Still the big favourites to come.

Jay McCarthy is in 9th place 1'14" down.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0022_zpsa66c22e5.jpg

Rogers has had a good start 8 seconds behind Meyer at the first check.
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0023_zps0afac8a1.jpg

Porte has the new best time at the intermdeiate 4 seconds ahead of Dennis and Meyer.

A new fastest time by Rogers 18 seconds faster than Meyer, can he hold on with Dennis and Porte to come?
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0024_zps40c57a29.jpg

No win for Rogers, Rohan Dennis is faster by 4 seconds.Frown
i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/danielclapp1/pcm0025_zps95b029d3.jpg

Richie Porte Wins, 6 seconds ahead of Dennis.
