The last couple of years haven't brought much success for the French riders. Bernard Hinault was the last French cyclist who won the Tour, back in 1985. Way too long ago. Sojasun wants to change this.
Sojasun made some significant changes to their scouting system. They want to focus more and more on young talented french riders. Within 3 years, they want to promote to the UCI World Tour. All for only one goal: Delivering a new French winner of La Grande Boucle. To achieve these goals, Sojasun decided to slightly increase their money input, in order to contract the best French talents, especially the climber talents.
I will use very much screenshots and I will not simulate a single race.
The Team roster and the Calendar will appear soon.

Team Presentation
The Leaders

Julien Simon
Julien Simon is best described as a type 'John Degenkolb'. Not the best sprinter, but in hilly classics he can show what he's got. His powerful legs don't have any problems carrying him over steep hills. We have very much faith in this guy and hope he can get us some victories.

Brice Feillu
Brice is the best climber of the team. He has no chance to win mountain stages in races like the Tour, but he will certainly be able to show his skills in continental races. Sojasun's main goal will be winning a stage in Paris-Nice. Brice will train hard and hopefully his effort will pay off.

Johan Le Bon
Johan is a huge talent, great in Time Trials and on hilly terrains. And he's only 22 years old. He's got huge potential, but he will never ever win the Tour de France. This year he aims to get some good results in hilly classics. Last year he rode for FDJ, but he was convinced to come over thanks to our ambitious plans for the future. |

This is a big, big talent. Maybe the new Gilbert. Born in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, France, he wants to participate in the Tour because of the grand départ taking place there. Lucca Bocagnani may sound like an Italian, but he is a real French rider! |

Good luck with this story!
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

First race is the Tour de San Luis
At Sojasun we see this race more like a training for the real work. This race is not a important goal for our team. Since most riders are not in form yet, we try to attack every day as we don't stand a chance for a victory.
Riders
Fabien Schmidt
Evaldas Siskevicius
Yannick Talabardon
Rony Martias
Romain Lavigne
Anthony Delaplace
Romain Lavigne
One of our greatest talents. He is 19 years old and he can sprint really well. He has to become a lot better to race for victory in the future. But he has the potential. This sprinter was raised in Saint-Girons, in the Midi-Pyrénées. Most riders from there are climbers, but Romain is an exception. And a good one.
