Worth buying now or wait?

Hey
I was thinking of buying the game but its a bit too expensive for me and Im not really sure its worth it. The only one in these series I played is the '08 or '09 so I don't really know what to expect. Another reason why Im uncertain about the game is that I heard there were big problems with the '10 or '11. |

If you go from 08/09 to 13 its 100% worth the price.
going from 12 to 13 i am not so sure, it seems better but i havent done more than a few races so far. |

It's definitely worth it from any PCM just to experience the mountain gameplay.

I almost wish I could go for both '12 and '13 and then play the one I liked most, but that would also be a waste of money.
What are the pros and cons between '12 and '13? |

Well 12 isn't better. That's certain. I guess pricing would be the only reason to even consider buying it.

You have to go for '13. There is not enough price difference to justify getting the old game.
Yes currently '12 is a more complete game, with less glitches and bigger DB's. But the upcoming patch for '13 will put it way ahead. And then a proper DB and it will be a fantastic game.

Stupid, tried to get a discount if I bought '12 and '13 but apparently they didn't think so.
Looks like im leaning towards '13. |

What's in the patch (link?). Is there anything wrong with the finances in the game, not a glitch but different? Read that you don't get prize money from races. |

Patch is as yet unknown.
Nothing wrong with finances, but they are now more realistic. You do not get Prize Money, that in essence goes to the riders. Instead you get paid a "13th month" by your sponsors to cover staff costs
