I've noticed some (more Southern) riders have a goatee, while others don't, so there are different skins, we already know that. (Black & Asian too).

But does anyone know how to change a regular skin to the goatee one?
I've seen the goatee "artwork" in the right folder and it's named something,something_5, but putting the rider to Skin_5 didn't do it.

Try this: Play a stage and look at the faces of the riders, then write down the name of the riders having a goatee. Now open the DB and search these riders and compare with riders not having a goatee.

BTW: Make sure that you are editing the correct file and/or load the file you edited.
Or in case you edited the DB, make sure to select it in the options, then start a new game.

Thanks for your answer. I've tried to do it before (Lastras has a goatee), but the problem is nobody has a skin in my editor, except the Asians and the Blacks.


And I've been editing my save games like crazy for like a year now, so I'm editing the right file, thanks Grin

Maybe it is random then? Does Lastras have a goatee whenever you see him? (Of course this sounds stupid but the glasses are random if I am not mistaken)

Or maybe it's Nationality-related. I notice almost all, or maybe all Spanish and Italian riders have it...
