I am looking for some PCM 2013 challenges, any ideas of challenges or a thread where these are recommended?

Do you mean the achievements of the game? Some of them should be challenging.

I was thinking more along the lines of playing as a weak team and working up the order (presume that a Conti team can be promoted to Pro Conti?) or perhaps a team with low sponsorship monies compared to it's rivals?

Rider challenges:
Win all monuments in one season
Win all GT's in one season

Team challenge:
Win all WT races in one season.
