wages vs sponsor money

Hej I just reinstalled game after a longer break from playing it...

As far as I recall Sponsor money and rider's wages where supposed to be aproximatelly simular. But I only get 1/12 of my riders wages covered by sponsors.

I installed daily pcm11->12 db, but also tried with original db and still had same problem...

It is very annoying, I either have to make such an overpowered team I win everything or run all races 3d to finance the team.

Any advice?
