Game crashes when loadin my own stage

I have created a stage that I would like to race, but everytime I load it the game crashes during the 'sprint geometries' load screen. I have replaced the Brabantse pijl stage in the CM_Stages folder with my stage.

I have altered my sprints several times and even removed everything but the start and finish, but it does not seem to help. I don't know if the problem is changing the type of race e.g. from classic to mountain stage, which I have done,

At first the game crashed during the podium load screen, but that I somehow managed to fix by changing the type of podium from tdf to default, but then it got no further than sprint geometries.

Does anybody have an idea what could be causing the crashes?
