Hi,
I've been away from PCM for a while. I've played every PCM since CM4, however. Imagine I install PCM with latest patch and PCMDaily's DB.
I want to do a very long term career, using PCMDaily's DB. So I need some advice:
- Is there a known career stopping bug(s) for long term careers at specific points?
- Do we run out of sponsors after some seasons? In case that happens, any easy available fix?
I won't buy PCM13 for a while, I think. It's never playable from the box. So help me on PCM12 |

No running out of sponsors with the Daily Db(2013 DB + stat update is best ofc. Link to stats update is at the front page, in the graphical improvement pack news feed) amazing amount of shirts!!!
Also, there was a career stopping bug in 2015, but there's an easy fix:
Delete all your messages once in a while.
Also, there's a small bug that's there at some careers, not being able to continue to the next year. Using a weekly save from the end of December fixes it though.
So nothing will stop you from doing a long career!

Wouldn't really say that PCM12 gameplay-wise is fun enough to keep a career going for a long period of time. |

Why? What's wrong with it?
I've been thinking of buying it recently, since the only other one I have is 2009 (which is pretty outdated). 2013 will be rubbish on release, so I assumed it would be better to buy 2012, patch it to 1.4 and then use the PCM Daily 2013 DB. |

There's quite some gameplay problems/bugs (riders barely drop in the mountains, peloton suddenly stops chasing out of nowhere with 5 kms to go, I don't really like the sprints [too much gain by sprinting in the slipstream and accelerating with only 0.5 kms to go]...) + PCM13 is looking great both in gameplay + new career features + graphics.
Some of PCM12 gameplay problems are also summed up in this thread:

Is PCM 2011 a better game? I could probably pick that up for a great price, and then use the 2012 DB. |

In my opinion, yes. And if you go with PCM11, Atlantius has converted Daily's 2013 DB for it

Oh wow, that looks great!
Thanks so much for your help! I'll definitely buy PCM 2011 this week and get started on a Career. I can't wait to play this game again! |
