PCMdaily exp install help.

Hi.
I have made a clean install of the game, patched to 1.4.0.0
Then I installed PCMdaily expantion for 1.3.0.0 and updated with the PCMdaily 1.3 --> 1.4 updater.
1.) Do I still need this?

2.) Did I do the steps above incorretly, was I supposed to just patch the game to 1.3, then install pcmDailyExp 1.3, update game to 1.4 and then update pcmdaily to 1.4?
Haven't started the game yet, just want to make sure I've done it correctly before I start playing.
Wasn't sure if I should have put this in the database section, but that looked to be more about editing databases, so I put it here in general. |

2. No.
But, i am talking only if your 1.3 expansion db was whole db,not update from 1.2->1.3 , if it was that way, than you should install 1.2 ver. db firstly.

This is the one you downloaded for the 1.4, no? If so, you did it correct 
2) You did it fine.
3) Why don't you download the 2013 DB?

If the All in One is downloading slow (no idea how it is), and you've already installed the Expansion Packs, then you can just download:
1. PCM.daily's 2013 DB Public Beta
2. PCM.daily's 2013 DB | Public Beta to V1 Update
Other things you might consider downloading:
- .cdb fixing a few bugs
- Extras for the 2013 DB
- Stat update after the Ardennes

Hmm, I downloaded the all in one, it was 8.5gb, but when I install it's only 2.8GB.
Why was the download so big, Should I have done custom install and picked everything instead of typical install? |

Can you post a screen of the installed files? It should be quite bigger than 2.8 GB indeed.

It says required diskspace 2.8gb in the install wizard.
Do you mean a screenshot of the pro cycling manager folder? Or are you talking about a subfolder for the 2013 db? If so where is it? |

Oh, I thought you had installed the DB for some reason in an empty folder or something and then there were only 2.8 GB Well, did you try cleaning more space and then installing it?

No, I have plenty of space. I just found it wierd that the install only required 2.8GB of free diskspace when the sourcefiles were 8.5GB. It installed without errors. But I chose typical install. Perhaps I should have done custom and ticked everything for installation.
What is not installed when using typical install?

Well, I know that the files total to more than 2,8 GB, that's for sure, but I don't know about the installing options (never ran the All-in-One installation .exe). Perhaps you could try installing in an empty folder and then seeing if the files are only 2,8 GB or ~8 GB?
