I am doing a new story attempt, still with Diadora, but now it is the second season. I am playing on normal difficult. My team is pretty much the same, but I have lost Kreuziger, my prime GC rider, but I have signed a lot of new cyclists. And the ones I have had developed a lot last year. Here my best rider in each class:
Spoiler
Stage racer: Thibaut Pinot I also have Pozzovivo(Retiring after season) and a lot on about 76-78 MO
Sprinter: Sagan I also have Bouhanni(78 SP 82 ACC)
Cobble: Cancellara(Carbonara in the shitty DB I have)
Puncher: I have no real puncher, but if I have to choose one, I will choose Henao
My style is to hire a lot of trainers and scouts, to develop my riders fast. But I have one problem, my Sponsor. It only gives my 340 k money a month, which is not enugh. So in the start of the season, I was minus 600 k.

I have also gained some amazing talents. Like Jason Lines, he won the Australian Championship in front of Roberts and Goss(Sky). He also won a four stages in Tour Down Under, bur Evans beat all in the GC. I have also signed O. Le Grand. Which is one of the most talented guys in the world. He can climb hills, drive on coobles and sprint.
I had the second to the fifth spot in Paris-Nice, behind Gilbert(Omega Pharma)
I won the highest mountain stage on Tirreno-Adriatico and the sprint and the youth jersey.
Sagan won the Milano-San Remo.
Henao won Vuelta a ciclista Cataluña in front of Pinot.
Cancellara won both E3-Harelbeke, Gent Wevelgem and Ronde Vlanderen.
By now is Pinot leading GP al Pais Vasco, two seconds before Gerrans(Sky) and Rodriguez.

Why telling that to story-writers? It is so un-motivational!
Great team, mate hope you'll get far! At least, get half of what dienblad achieved with even stronger team.
Good luck!

I did say it may. But forget what I said kqyt. It will be great
Today's stage in GP al Pais Vasco is really hilly.
The breakaway of 13 riders form early on the stage: Pinerolli
Joseph
Marzano
Sarmiento
Marycz
Albasini
Brajkovic
Pardilla
G.Gutierez
L.Westra
K.Fernando
T.Hupond
But after the two first climbs, only Sarmiento, Hupond, Marzano and Pineau is in the lead group. While all the others are slowly pulled in by the pack(which is not going fast).
At the 4. climb, "Pozzo" attacks. He has borke his arm and is in bad shape because he had no train when he was dmged.
In the bottom the the last climb. Peneau is in the lead in front of Marzano and Hupond. They are chased by A.Stark and Valverde, which is chased by Pinot. And he is chased by the other favourites. He pulls really hard up the hill, but Stark gets it, in front of Valverde and Pinot. Henao had also been chasing the climb, but he started chasing after Pinot, so he came further behind.

After the finish, Pinot was meating the press.
-How are you happy with the results today?
I am not overexcited with them, but they were pretty good I think. I still got the yellow jersey and I gained some time at most of my competitors.
-Do think you can win the jersey?
-Yes. Of course. It will be hard on the 25 km Time Trial, but it is not impossible. I still got 1 min and 7 sec on Valverde and over two minutes to (Andy) Stark.
-Your contract ends this season, which teams are you looking to compete for?
-I can't answer that yet. It is early in the season.
-What do you think about tomorrow's stage?
-It is very hilly at the end, with six high climbs. I will try to gain some time at the good TT riders.
-What are you thinking about Cancellara and his work on the cobbles.
-I have seen his results and they are great. But you must remember Sagan too, he is also a good Cobble rider. He finnish second in E3 after winning the sprint.
Today is the last day for the climbers to get some time against tomorrows 25 km long TT.
Diadora took control over the pack and didn't let the breakaway long in front of the pack. In the mountains at the end, no real attacks were made before the last climb. Where Contador attacked, and he made it to the finish.
He won with 32 sec to the second group, here is the results:

When you have the yellow jersey in a UCI race, you got media all over you. That is Pinot learing now
-How are you happy with the result today?
-I am not really happy, because Contador was gaining time on me. And tomorrow is it TT, and he is the World Champion in TT.
-You have one min on Valverde, which is second in the GC, and two mins on Contador, isn't that a sure win for you?
-No, as I have said, is Contador a beast at TT. And when it is 25 km of it, he can easily gain minutes.Edited by kqyt on 21-05-2013 06:50
Today was the day that Pinot had feared, a 25 km long TT.
L.L. Sanchez sets a good time as number 30 in the overall before the stage. That is 49 secs before Schumacer and Von Garderen. Before Henao and Pinot starts, Cataldo is my best rider in the finish, he is 1'07 behind Sanchez at a 12th place.
After the top ten have passed the first point, A.Stark is leading, before some good TTriders and Contador 13 seconds behind him. Pinot is 32 seconds behind Stark and 10 sec behind Valverde. Stark also gets the best time at the end, but Pinot is having a really bad day, so he is in danger when climbing the last hill.
Stark also gets the best time in the finnish, with Cantador 19 sec behind him. And Valverde shows of his classic shape and takes the 9th place in goal, 28 seconds behind Stark. With Pinot at 1 min behind at the last climb, this is excting. The first audience notices him. He is coming in at a rapid pace! All that have met up looks excited at the results board.
59' seconds behind!! He had made it!! Even Stark won the stage 2 seconds it front of Martin and 6 secs in front of Sanchez, Pinot won
-How did you do this Pinot?
-I cycled as fast as I could on the mountains, and I didn't loose too much time there
-Henao finished 7th in the overall, what do you think about that?
-Henao has been amazing these last days. He helped me a lot on the stage where I gained two minutes to the others. It is sad that he lost his second place in the overall, but I think he would be mostly happy with this. The best climbers in the world has been here.
-Well, now I will let you celebrate with the other guys in the team. Congratulations with the victory, and good luck to the cobble riders which are going to Paris-Roubaix tomorrow.
(Host) Welcome to Paris-Roubaix, also known as the Hell of the North. Today is the last day for the cobble this years. The previous races has given us nice pictures of how hard a cobble race is, like in Ronde Vlaanderen, where only 35 riders made it the finish. We have also seen great performances by Carbonara and Boanen, but there are more riders that can possibly win this race. Riders like Hushovd, Smukulis, Eisel, Breschel, Ballan, Vanpsringeren can also be important to this race. Sadly for the riders, it is rainy today, and rain make the cobbles slippery, so a fall in Arenberg, can
As always some bad cobble riders made a early brake. The break contained of seven riders. At 45 km left, Boanen, Pozzatto and Turgot and Offredo attacked. With 30 km to go, only Boonen and Offredo was in the lead, but I had lost all my riders except Sagan, Smmukulis and Carbonara.
20 km to go. Boonen was alone in the lead, being chased by a group of 22 riders, mostly favourites. Boonen was caught 1 km after. I sent Carbonara to attack. Behind him, no one wanted to pull the others, so with 10 km left, Carbonara had a minute to the second group
They got out of the last cobble section, Carbonara still in the lead, and Sagan and Smukulis in the second group. Carbonara entered the Velodrome, 1min30sec before the second group. And with Sagan in the second group, I was hoping for a double victory. Corbonara took it, while the sun was looking at it.
Behind him, Smukulis had launched Sagan, which was far ahead the others in teh group. A triple victory?? Yess!!! This must make the sponsor happy.
After seeing the results, I figured out that this wasn't a that hard Paris-Roubaix as it was used to. Almost 150 out of 200 riders completed.
1. Fabio Carbonara 6h 39min 33sec
2. Peter Sagan +1'14
3. Gatis Smululis s.t.
4. Sebastien Turgot 1'39
5. Tom Boonen
6. Matti Breschel
7. Yoann Offredo
8. Bernard Eisel
9. G. von Avermaet
10. Juan A. Flecha
(Forgot to export )
Carbonara was held away from the media until after the podium was officially showed to. He was basically stormed by journalists.
-Congratulations!! You must be really happy with this.
-Yes, of course I am happy!
-Now you are the second rider in history which wins Ronde Vlaanderen, Gent-Wevelgem and Paris-Roubaix in one season. What do you think abiut that?
-I find it great to be the second rider of all times which makes it. And I also have four victories in Paris-Roubaix now, but my first in 2006 doesn't count, so officially I have three.
-Now you have 506 points in the individual World Tour, last year Valverde won it by having 580 points, how do you think about your chances there?
-Well, it will be hard to keep the lead, because it is not many more points I can pick. I need to pick them everywhere I can to win this. But it is not impossible
-After this, we are going to the Ardenner classics, can we see you there?
-I will probably be training when they are on, but we have some good riders that can do well in those classics.
-Your contract is ending this season, how are your plans after the season?
-I have already signed a new contract, which I am happy to be a part of. It will keep me in this wonderful team long enough to win more of the Paris-Roubaix races.
-Sagan finished second today, and Smukulis finished third. A triple victory in Paris-Roubaix. How is that for your team?
-It is great, our plan was for me to attack, and if it hadn't worked out, Sagan was going to sprint for us at the velodrome.
-Congratulations once more with this great result!

Welcome to the Maastricht and the Amstil Gold Race, which is the first of the Ardenne classics. On the startlist today we strong names like tow times Stark(Shcleck), Valverde, Contador, Gillou(Gilbert) and Anton at the start line.
We sent a really strong hill team to Maastricht, with our worst climber as Sagan. But our problem was that we had no real favourites, yes, Henao is a good climber, but it will be hard against a Gillou, Valverde, A.Stark in the final climbs.
As used it came a breakaway out of the bunch. But before it was really created, A.Stark had fallen, but together with one help rider, he got back into the pack. The breakaway contained of 4 riders.
The weather today was very rainy, so a lot of fall took places, including one to Sagan.
With 25 km to go, the attacks began. A group of favorites got away from the pack, but none of them were mine. And Gilbert was in front of the group. With 5 km to go, Gilbert was leading with 40 sec to the second group. With 4 km to go, I gave up.
Gilbert was almost sprinted in by the others, but he won in front of Valverde and Visconti. Henao won the sprint in the pack. After the race, Henao fled to the team bus, which set off even before the prize rewarding. The other teams did of course find this bad, and the next day, Diadora were on the front pages together with Gilbert. Diadora kept out of the media for some days, even they were trying to interview them.
It seems like this is not the most popular story, so I want to hear from you what I should become better at. It would be nice to hear how I can get more readers
Well, there are always the silent followers, who just dont always comment (like me). What you could improve is making some screens, from a finish or something. Some pictures always make a story nicer. For the rest, the DB is a shame, but that will fade after a while. Your results are good

Well, maybe you can make the layout a bit better(look at other stories, but don't copy them), and take some more screenshots(preferable without rings ).
Also, it might 'scare' people that you play with the original DB.
But it isn't the least popular story either, I guess
